1911 Living at Pineheath, Cornwall Road, Harrogate: William Edwin Cary (age 66 born Boston), Carriage Spring and Axle manufacturer - Employer. With his wife Alice Ann Cary (age 63 born Salford). Married 44 years with two children and of whom one is still living. Also his grand-daughter Doris Cary (age 18 born Withington, Lancs.) and his sister-in-law Catherine Roberts (age 69 born Salford). Three servants.[2]
