"We regret to record the death, on June 21, of Mr. William Douglas, who was for many years a director of Martin, Black and Co. (Wire Ropes) Ltd., Coatbridge. Mr. Douglas, who had been with the company since its inception in 1933, retired from active management in December 1965, on medical advice, and had since then acted as a sales consultant to the company."
