Electrical Training at Wolverhampton; Assistant Engineer at Rochdale Corporation Electricity and Tramways Department; Assistant at Croydon Corporation Electricity Works; Chief Assistant at Kilmarnock; General Manager of Kilmarnock Electricity and Tramways Undertakings, 1911. Constructed extensive system of electric transmission over large part of Ayrshire, supplying numerous burghs and districts with electrical energy.
