1953 Chairman of Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, London, S.W.I. Born 15th January, 1892, at Sittingbourne. Educated at Wreight's School, Faversham. Vice-President of Federation Internationale de l'Automobile; Member of the Councils of Royal Institute of International Affairs, and of English Speaking Union. Chairman of Directors of R.A.C. Buildings Co. Ltd., and various other associated Companies. Has held high office in Rotary including Board of Directors, 1932-33, Rotary International. Awarded Order of the Crown of Belgium, 1947; Swedish Royal Order of Vasa 1947; Danish Order of Danneborg, 1948, and Royal Order of St. Olav, Norway 1949.
