1917 Whiteman Manufacturing Company Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £3,000, with the stated object of carrying on business as manufacturers of and dealers in aeroplanes, flying machines, airships, life-saving devices, motor and steam carriages and boats, agricultural implements, locomotives, wheels, tyres, and lamps, mechanical, electrical and general engineers.[1]

1924 The company was struck off and dissolved.[2]
