Has held the position of Engineer locating and construction railways for Public Works for 20 years; Engineer of roads, 3 years; Assistant Engineer-in-Chief, 2 years; Chief Engineer of Works, Public Works, Tasmania, appointed February, 1919. Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, January 12,1915. Chairman of Tender Board and Main Roads Public Works, Tasmania; Government Engineer to certify to expenditure from Government loans by local bodies, Tasmania; Vice-President, Tasmanian Branch of the Institution of Engineers of Australia.
