1921 Residing at 86 Grandison Road, Battersea, SW 11: Walter James Ball (age 40 born Lambeth), Leather Dye and Stain Manufacturer, with his wife Lillie Ball and sons Francis Charles Ball (age 13 born Lambeth), Walter Ernest Ball and Albert James Ball and Eric Arthur Ball.[1]

1931 Died aged 50, of Grandison Road, Clapham Common and proprietor of Messrs. F. Ball and Co.. manufacturers of dyes. rubber solution. inks. waxes. etc.[2]

1939 His widow, Lillie Ball, was a company director, leather dressing, living in Sutton and Cheam[3]
