1841 November 27th. Married at Bedminster to Louisa Joanna Fisher. 'Nov. 27, at Yatton, Somerset, by the Rev. N. Wodehouse, M. A., Wm. M. Peniston, Esq., of Weston-super-Mare, to Louisa Joanna, eldest of Joseph Fisher, Esq., of Cleeve, and grand-daughter of the late James Sparrow, Esq, of Flax Bourton, the same county.'[3]
1844 Engaged by the Bridgwater Corporation to prepare plans for a horse tramway linking Bridgwater Station to riverside quays.
1845 Appointed Resident Engineer on the Wilts, Somerset and Weymouth Railway.
1849 Birth at Yetminster of son Edwin Peniston
1852 Birth at Yetminster of son Gerald Penison
1853 Birth at Yetminster of son Herbert Peniston
1854 Bankruptcy. William Michael Peniston of Yetminster, railway contractor.[4]
c1858 Went to Brazil as Resident Engineer on the Pernambuco and San Francisco Railway until 1862.
1868 Gave evidence to a Parliamentary Commission on railways in Natal.
1869 May 28th. Died. 'On the 28th May, suddenly, at Beere, Central Provinces, India, William Michael Peniston, fourth son of the late John Peniston, of De Vaux-place, Salisbury.'[5]
