1964 Obituary[1]

"We regret to announce the death of Mr. W. H. Rigg, B.Sc., who was killed on July 18th in a motor racing accident in Ireland. Mr Rigg, who was managing director of Firth Cleveland Tools Ltd., Tipton, was also recently appointed managing director of its associate companies. Mr. Rigg was very well known as an amateur racing driver and won his first race at Brooklands in 1929 and was awarded the Brooklands Gold Star in 1930."
