1929 Constructed a cold rolling machine for the research department of Sheffield University.[2]

1965 Part of "one of the largest groups in the UK".[4]

1966 Won order for a rolling mill for extra-thin plate for Steel Company of Wales to design by Loewy Engineering.[5]

1966 Amalgamation with another TI heavy engineering subsidiary, Loewy Engineering Co, to form Loewy Robertson Engineering.[6]

The small parts division, with the Wharco trademark, was retained by Tube Investments and later became TI Robertson.[7]
