Established in 1882 in London by Frank Vornberger and Charles Vornberger; started in Glasgow much earlier. Incorporated as a Limited Company in 1891. Directors: Charles Vornberger (Chairman and Managing Director), Charles Vornberger, jun., and John McBride (Managing Directors), H. F. Hebert (Secretary). Staff: About 600. Branches: About twenty-five throughout England, Scotland, and Ireland. Specialities: Sausage Casings, Tennis Strings, Gut Sash-lines, Musical Instrument Strings. Are the patentees of a Gut-cleaning Machine.
