  • Makers of industrial and marine diesel engines
  • 1909 established by Will Vivian (1890–1965). It built many of the small petrol engines used to motorize the gillnet fishing fleet in the years before WWI. In the 1920s Vivian was the first Canadian company to build a marine diesel engine [1]
