1888 After the failure of the London Steamboat Co, it was succeeded by the Victoria Steamboat Association which continued till 1894.

1894 Consequent on the mismanagement of its affairs, the Victoria also succumbed.

1896 Action between Vere Herbert Smith on behalf of himself and all other the holders of the " A " Debentures of the company, and Robert Daniel Wilkinson and the Victoria Steamboats Limited and Frank Penn when it was ordered that an enquiry be made what mortgage debentures had been issued by the Victoria Steamboats Limited and were outstanding ,etc.[1]

1897 Acquired by Thames Steam Boat Co (1897), which was registered on 3 April to take over the properties of the Victoria Steamboats [2], practically taking over the fleet of the Victoria Association, to which it added three new boats, which were specially built by the Thames Ironworks Company to afford better accommodation for the river passenger service than had previously been the case.[3]
