Bridge over River Aire in Leeds

1837-39 Built of ashlar by J. B. and M. Faviell and George Leather junior.

The bridge consisted of a single wide elliptical arch. It has an incised Greek motif, a central plaque with wreath and raised lettering: 'VICTORIA', in commemoration of the new Queen's coronation.
