United Airways

From Graces Guide

United Airways Ltd was founded in 1935 by Clive Pearson to run Blackpool Corporation Airport. The company planned to fly Spartan Cruisers from Spartan Air Lines and Dragon-Rapide aircraft from De Havilland. The company merged with Spartan Airways, becoming Allied British Airways in 1936. This company would become the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) in 1939.[1]
