1874 Auction Notice: '.... ALL that MILL known as Union-street Mill, situate on the easterly side of Union-street, in Rochdale, and now in the occupation of Messrs. James Baron & Sons as a waste warehouse. The engine is a first-class one of 40-horse power, made by Peel, Williams and Co, with Petrie's regulating valve.....' [1]
