1923 First cars were produced. Advert in 'The Times' for 10-20 h.p. model under the Triumph Motor Co name. [1]

1928 The company found its first automotive success with the debut of the Super Seven car in 1928. Shortly after, the Super Eight (which the hotel chain was named after) was born.

1946 The pre-war models were not revived and in 1946 a new range of Triumphs starting with the 1800 was announced. Because of steel shortages these were bodied in aluminium which was plentiful because of its use in aircraft production.

After WW2, the TR-1 and TR-2 sports cars were produced.

1961 Manufacturers of motor cars, including the "TR 3" and "Herald". [2]

1963 Motor Show exhibitor. Showed 2000, TR4, Spitfire 4, Vitesse and Herald. [3]
