Train World, Brussels

From Graces Guide
2025

Train World is a railway museum in Schaerbeek, a suburb of Brussels, Belgium, and the official museum of the National Railway Company of Belgium (NMBS/SNCB). It is situated in the preserved buildings of Schaarbeek railway station and in a new shed connected to it.

It is an excellent museum, but some of the exhibits are illuminated for dramatic effect rather than for close scrutiny, so visitors interested in details should consider taking their own illumination!

The museum is partly housed in one of the former Schaerbeek station buildings, making it readily accessible by frequent trains from the central Brussels stations.

Catering facilities in the vicinity are limited.
