1916 The business was founded on the south side of Glasgow by Louis Toffolo, with an initial speciality of terrazzo, to which was added marble, granite, fireplaces and composition flooring.[1]

1946 The business was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £30,000, and was described as granite and monumental workers.[2]

Records of the company, 1918-89, are deposited in Glasgow City Archives (TD1379).
