1868 Patent. '2659. To Thomas Wrigley, of the firm of Fielden Brothers, Todmorden, in the county of Lancaster, Manager, for the invention of "certain improvements in furnaces applicable to boilers for generating steam or other purposes.'[1]

1876 Patent. '4376. To Thomas Wrigley, Manager for the firm of Messrs. Fielden Brothers, of Todmorden, in the county of Lancaster, for the invention of "improvements in machinery or apparatus for spinning and doubling cotton and other fibrous substances."'[2]
