Has been engaged on engineering construction in various parts of the world, including the Blackwall Tunnel, London Tube Railways, Summit Tunnel of the Transandine Railway, of which he was in charge of the Chilian Section and was Resident Engineer in charge of the drainage of Para, Brazil.
