Thomas Snowden
Driver on the Stockton and Darlington Railway and fined 20s for descending to Yarm Station at 12 mph
He later went to France and became locomotive Superintendent of a large railway company.
Later returned to Middlesbrough and started Tees Side Iron Works with William Hopkins.
