1823 'Thomas Linley, of Sheffield, Yorkshire, bellows-maker, has obtained a patent for a method, different from any that has hitherto been invented or known, of increasing the force or power of bellows.'[1]

1827 Linley's patent treble bellows, circular and long shaft, advertised for sale by Drury and Wilde of Liverpool[2]
