1716 Born 8 Aug. son of Thomas Foley, M.P., a descendant of Paul Foley

Continued the family tradition of holding a seat in Parliament

1774 Foley was head of the poll in the election for Herefordshire.

After the death of the 2nd Baron, Thomas Foley (1703-1766), the Foley's ownership of Wilden and the Great Witley estates passed to Thomas Foley of Stoke Edith, who was a distant cousin of Thomas.

1776 Made a peer

Probably leased the forge at Wilden to Thomas Hill and Co. from Michaelmas 1776.

1777 Died 18 Nov.
