1875 Born in Enfield the son of John James Ridge, a Doctor, and his wife Harriet Newsome Williams/

1911 Listed as Assistant Superintendent Balloon Factory. Age 35 born Enfield.[1]
1911. Killed on the 18th of August 1911 when testing an experimental de Havilland machine from the Army Balloon Factory
He was replaced as Superintendant by S. Heckstall-Smith
