Theodor Flöther Landmaschinen AG.

In 1854 Theodor Flöther founded a blacksmith shop in Gassen (now Jasien, Poland) for the repair of agricultural machinery. The business expanded and by 1870 was producing agricultural machineryat several factories. In 1889, the company was incorporated as a public limited company under the name "Maschinenbauanstalt & Eisengießerei vorm. Flöther AG". The business went bankrupt in 1931, the company was re-established under the names "Neue Flöther Landmaschinen AG" and later "Th. Flöther Maschinenbau AG." The history of the Flöther company came to an end with the war in 1945.
