The name Tersons is derived from Carter Paterson a former haulage firm

1947 Was a division of Pickfords before railway nationalisation.[1]

1952 Undertaking construction work on the new site of the London Transport Executive at Elstree, where they used Euclid rear dump wagons[2]

1953 Acquired by Power Securities Corporation[3]

1957 Constructing 3 interconnecting office blocks in Eastbourne Terrace, London[4]

1962 L.C.C. Education Committee accepted a tender by Tersons Ltd. for new buildings at the Chelsea School of Art and extensions to Chelsea College of science and technology.[5]

1969 Part of Power Securities Corporation. Acquired by British Insulated Callender's Cables[6]
