This should be Chemins de fer de l'Ouest

True - but the source journal (ie The Engineer) often just uses the singular which may be the reason that all of these railways have been recorded that way. Should we retitle them?

No - my concern was specifically the incorrect spelling of Ouest! Chemin or Chemins is neither here nor there, really, but since the title needed correcting anyway, I went for the more common plural that appears in French sources referring to this particular company.

Oh I see - didn't spot that. Still I think the plural of chemin could be added to those companies that need it.
