Three Ships owned by the Canadian Pacific Steamship Co had this name.[1]

1905 RMS Empress of Britain was built by Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Co at Govan on the Clyde in 1905-1906 for Canadian Pacific Steamship Co. She was a transatlantic ocean liner. Contracted to Royal Mail hence title RMS.[2]

1931 The second ship of this name was built by John Brown and Co. A Quadruple Screw Liner.

1956 The third was built by Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Co. Ltd., Govan, a steel turbine steamer. She was a long lived passenger ship which saw roles as a cruise ship under many owners most notably as CARNIVALE beginning the operations of the burgeoning Carnival Cruises.
