Thomas Cropper Ryley ( -1886) of the Haigh Foundry Co

1836 Listed as a petitioning creditor (concerning Joseph Burke), along with Benjamin Fletcher, Robert Thompson, Edward Evans and James Fleetwood Cannell, of Haigh, Lancashire, iron-founders and copartners[1]

1841 Married Eleanor, 2nd daughter of Edward Dawson of Aldcliffe Hall, Lancaster [2]

1853 Patent sealed: Thomas Cropper Ryley, of Haigh Foundry, near Wigan, engineer, and Edward Evans of the same place, engineer, for certain improvements in the construction of wrought iron wheels, to be used on railways, or for other purposes, and in the machinery or apparatus connected therewith; dated January 17, 1853 [3]

1886 Death of Thomas Cropper Ryley at Birkdale. He had retired from the Haigh Foundry Co in 1856.[4]
