1886 Converted into a shipyard

1889 After the death of Thomas Andrew Walker his contracts were continued by his Executors and subsequently by the formation of C. H. Walker and Co Ltd. by Thomas's nephew Charles.[1]

1890 Built the hull of TTS Alpha with engines by Fleming and Ferguson [2]
