Syzran Bridge (Russia)

From Graces Guide

The Syzran Bridge across the Volga River near Syzran was designed by Nikolai Belelubsky and Konstantin Mikhailovsky. It was the first rail bridge ever built across the lower part of the Volga River. It was officially opened by Konstantin Posyet in 1880 for the Samara-Zlatoust Railway. The bridge has 13 spans of lattice girders, each 107 metres (351 ft) long, giving a total length of 1,483 meters (4,865 ft).[1]

Described in Engineering in 1880.[2] [3] [4]

All the ironwork of the bridge was manufactured at the Société Anonyme des Hauts-Fourneaux in Belgium. Was this the Société Anonyme des Hauts-Fourneaux, Usines et Charbonnages de Marcinelle et Couillet?
