1924 The Swansea Pilot Boat Company Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £12,500, to acquire the interest of the Swansea Sea Pilots, of and in an agreement for the building of a steel vessel and made with Palmers Shipbuilding and Iron Co, and to carry on the business of pilot boat, ship and tug owners.[1]

1944 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
