1853 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, Richard Stuart and John Jobson Smith, as Stove Grate Manufacturers, carrying on business at Roscoe-place, in Sheffield, in the county of York, under the style or firm of Stuart and Smith, was dissolved by mutual consent, on the 1st day of January last; and that all debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said John Jobson Smith, by whom the said business will in future be carried on...'[1]
