1907 The company was registered July 2,1907, to acquire the business of silk mercers, linen, drapers, &c., of a firm of the same name.

1927 Became part of Stagg and Russell. The company owns the well-known drapery businesses of Stagg and Mantle and H. C. Russell, occupying premises in the heart the west End of London.[2]
