1974 Spillers-French Milling Ltd, a subsidiary of Spillers-French Holdings Ltd, supplied flour and wheat offals which are used in the production of biscuits and meal and as ingredients in some canned pet foods.

1978 Spillers French sold the baking operations to Ranks Hovis McDougall and then reduced milling capacity[1]
