Spa were built in Italy by Societa Ligure Piemontese Automobili of Turin.

1908 Spa developed a range of commercial vehicles.

1923 They had two passenger-carrying models.

1925 Due to a bank failure the company were taken over by FIAT.

1928 The Royal Agricultural Show saw Fiat exhibiting three of their own trucks, one Spa truck and one Spa bus. The bus shown had a 52bhp four-cylinder engine and seated 24 passengers.

1947 Spa was totally absorbed by FIAT.
