1897 Company formed. Directors are: E. L. Downing, Captain Hamilton Murrell, T. R. Thomas, R. T. Duncan, and H. Thomas. [1]

1897 April. The South Wales Motor Car Company is sued for the damage caused by their Thornycroft steam wagon. This was the first motor vehicle to come into Wales.[2]

1898 The South Wales Motor Car and Cycle Co was voluntarily wound up[3]
