Society of Model Aeronautical Engineers.
Founded: 1920.
This society, by agreement with the Royal Aero Club, is the body governing the sport of model aeronautics in Great Britain. The following clubs are affiliated with the Society:- The Model Aircraft Club, London; Bournemouth Model Aircraft Society; North Kent Gliding Club (model section); Boys' Own Paper Model League.
