1944 Private company. One of 4 divisions of S. Smith and Sons (England) Ltd[1]:

1945 The Gramophone Co formed a joint company Radiomobile Ltd with Smiths Motor Accessories Ltd to market car radios developed and manufactured by the Gramophone Co; the new company was later to take the name S. Smith and Sons (Radiomobile) Ltd[2].
