1978 Allen West Holding Co Ltd was renamed TI Simplex-GE Holdings Ltd

1980 TI Simplex-GE Holdings Ltd was renamed Simplex-GE Holdings Ltd (of Stoke-on-Trent)

1984 Buyout from International General Electric[2]

1985 Simplex-GE Holdings was renamed Simplex Electrical Holdings Ltd

1988 Simplex Electrical Holdings was renamed AllenWest (SEHL) Ltd of Ayr, a private company.
