1957 A controlling interest was acquired by Harland Engineering and Harland Drives after a successful collaboration between the companies on development of electronic controls for industrial drives[1]

1961 In conjunction with AEI developed a "speaking clock" which could be used with most modern telephone systems[2]

By 1969 was a member of the Weir Group; order from the Ministry of Defence for multi-channel magnetic recording equipment for RAF traffic control[3]
