1996 Acquired J. N. Rowen Ltd of Nottingham, a long established Company operating in complementary areas. Added further production lines at Dalton.
1999 name changed to Severfield-Rowen Plc reflecting the acquisition of Rowen Structures.
2001 creation of Fabsec Ltd., a joint venture with industry partners, providing beams with bespoke web openings. Added a plated-section processing line at Dalton. Acquired Watson Steel Structures of Bolton from AMEC.
2005 Acquired Atlas Ward Structures
2007 Acquired Fisher Engineering, a major construction steel fabricator based in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland
2014 Rebranded as Severfield plc.[1]
