1980 Acquired Lexor Electronics Ltd of Coventry.[3]

1984 Supplier of Supervisory and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems[4]

1988 The Coventry electronics firm Serck Controls was taken over by the Horstmann electronics group[5]

1993 Turn-over at the Horstmann group, which also takes in Coventry-based Serck Controls, has increased by 20 per cent to £189 million from £158 million[6]
