1799 Birth of son George William Lenox in Tottenham[1]

1812 His cousin, Samuel Brown, established a company (Brown, Lenox and Co) with him, based initially at Millwall in east London from 1812 and then, from 1816 at a larger works in Pontypridd, South Wales.
