1841 Living at Mount Stamp, Exeter: Samuel Kingdon (age c60), Magistrate. With Sarah Kingdom (age c55); William Kingdon (age c25), Attorney; James Kingdon (age c20), Attorney; Helen Kingdon age c20) and Sarah Kingdon (age c17).[1]

1851 Duryard Lodge, Exeter: Samuel Kingdon (age 71 born Exeter), Magistrate. With his wife Sarah and son Thomas K. Kingdon (age 37 born Exeter), Barrister.[2]

1854 January 14th. Died. 'January 14, at Duryard House, in the 75th year of his age Samuel Kingdon, Esq., a magistrate of the city of Exeter. He was beloved and respected by his numerous family and friends for the high integrity and great kindness of heart which distinguished him throughout a long and active life.'[3] Note: Not Duryard lodge in Lower Argyll Road but close to the site of Streatham Hall, Exeter.

1865 October 12th. Death of his wife Sarah Kingdon of Duryard Lodge, Exeter.
