1907 January 10th. Died. 'The death took place Thursday at Stimpson-avenue, Northampton, of Mr. Samuel James Loader Allchin. Deceased was one of the directors of William Allchin, Ltd., with which engineering firm he had been connected all his life. He was a business man, and was highly esteemed by large circle of friends. Mr. Allchin was the youngest son of the late Mr. William Allchin, and was a native of Northampton. He was only 40 years of age, and lost his wife a few months since. The end came as painful surprise, for Mr. Allchin took to his bed only last Saturday with an attack of pleurisy, which was followed by pneumonia.'[2]
