1844 Listed as a Corn Miller of Appleby's Buildings.[1]

1850 Death of his wife. 'At Orsdall, near Retford, on the 15th inst., Sarah wife of Samuel Chevin, Gent, age 43.'[2]

1873 February 28th. Died. Late of Appleby Buildings, Ordsall. Probate to Caroline Chevin, daughter, and Robert Jackson, Blacksmith of Ordsall.
