1777 Samuel Browning married Catherine Spencer at St George in the East, Tower Hamlets
1778 Samuel Browning formed a partnership with William Spencer
1782 Samuel was admitted to the Company of Grocers[2]
1784 Browning and Spencer went into partnership with Ebenezer Rust as Spencer, Browning and Rust
1785 Birth of son William in Eaton Socon, Beds.
1791 Birth of son Richard in Eaton Socon, Beds.
1795 John Browning was apprenticed to his father, Samuel Browning of Wapping, mathematical instrument maker[3]
1819 Died in St George, Middlesex[4]
His brother John was also the head of a line of instrument makers - see John Browning (2)
