1884 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Shepherd Sawrey and Alfred Attwood the younger, carrying on business as Engineers, Ironfounders, and Shutter Manufacturers, at the Canal Head Foundry and Engineering Works, Ulverston, in the county of Lancaster, and at No. 7, Victoria-street, Westminster, in the county of Middlesex, under the style or firm of Salmon, Barnes, and Co., has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as from the 31st day of December last. All debts owing to and by the said partnership will be received and paid by the said Alfred Attwood the younger, by whom the said business will be continued under the said firm of Salmon, Barnes, and Co....'[2]
